-RVD's return at Money in the Bank should mean his entry into one of the two MITB matches is set in stone. However, this is WWE we're talking about, and there's always the possibility that they could not enter him in MITB, just to screw with the fans. For everyone's sake, let's hope they do the predictable (and right) thing, and let RVD come back in style. However...
-Don't have him win a contract. It makes ZERO sense, especially since you've got established feuds for the summer going right now, and having RVD hold the Smackdown (World Heavyweight Title? Are they still classified by brands?) briefcase won't elevate the brand at all.
-Feud him with an established guy, an up and comer and a young star in the making. More specifically: Alberto Del Rio, Sin Cara & Dean Ambrose. RVD feuding with Ambrose for the US Title, or Sin Cara upon coming back would be AWESOME. I know Sin Cara just came back from injury, but a Cara-RVD feud (with Cara being the heel) could make for some great matches, although Cara would need a mouthpiece... how about a returning Hunico, or if he joins up with ADR & Ricardo? It could work. And in this hypothetical universe, why not have RVD feud with ADR too? As much as nobody likes Alberto on the mic, the guy can WRESTLE. So can RVD. Hmm... that makes sense. But what makes the MOST sense is to have him come back and feud with Dean Ambrose for the US championship. A high profile feud again for Ambrose would elevate the title and both men. Plus, you could put the title on RVD for a month.
-Have him re-unite his tag team with Kane. Honestly, Kane teaming up with small guys works, and who wouldn't love to see these 2 back together? They could even have Kane make a comment about how the first thing he did after he lost his mask was chokeslam RVD straight to hell. It'd rock, and yes you COULD put the tag belts on them.
-Give us a RVD vs Dolph Ziggler match. Just because.
-Have him put over a bunch of younger guys, just like Y2J is doing.
Get excited, everyone. The Monday Night Delight is back, and big things are coming. Because he's... ROB. VAN. DAM.
